The complete lack of variety of maps (they clearly spent their money scanning movie sets rather than developing the game content), means it starts to wear thin quite quickly.ДЇirstly the game is lacking any decent campaign mode, there are single player missions of sorts but they are pretty terrible and lacking in story. It has quite a few game modes but only a handful of maps (4 worlds in the whole release) making it feel very samey after a short while.

There are a few pretty annoying flaws with this game but the biggest is simply that Electronic Arts sadly are up to their old tricks again, and this game is massively lacking in content (even with the free Jakku update) for top price.

It is a fun shooter, but you will bore of it quickly because of a lack of content. It really is visually stunning, and the sound is absolutely fantastic, if you want to feel like you're in star wars then this game will deliver, if only on that front. So for those of you who were wondering, Star Wars Battlefront (2015) is still very much alive and kicking. I dove straight into a game of Cargo and was chuffed to bits to be lining up alongside 5 other Stormtroopers to take on the 6 rebel soldiers. ItвЂ™s so much fun online and I was thrilled to find that there are still plenty of players still playing this game. But returning to BF has been a revelation. The problems with both games have been well documented, so I wonвЂ™t regurgitate tried and tested opinions. And if you so happen to stumble across a hero pickup then great! In BF you are able to just enjoy the battle and play for the objectives. I also found myself spending all my time chasing battle points to get a hero, which is stressful and saps the enjoyment out of the game. She canвЂ™t possibly have any kind of profound influence on the top level Star Wars storyline as she doesnвЂ™t feature in any of the movies. IвЂ™d much rather play out Luke or Darth VaderвЂ™s actual character arc than IdenвЂ™s, which I just found boring and uninteresting. WouldnвЂ™t it be better to just follow the story of Luke or Han? I mean wouldnвЂ™t that be an amazing game, like the movie tie-ins they used to make but with a serious budget. It was too easy and for whatever reason I didnвЂ™t feel invested in any of the characterвЂ™s storylines. I also didnвЂ™t think much of the campaign mode. I wanted to like it so bad but it just wasnвЂ™t as fun as its predecessor. After an hour or two of playing I came away from my Xbox feeling flat. So I pre-ordered BF2 and it arrived and, following a very very long update, I was able to play it. I was so excited, how could they possibly improve on such a great game? Including a Campaign mode of course but what else? I stopped playing it when Battlefront 2 (BF2) came out as I, like many others, was expecting BF2 to be similar to the 2015 (BF) edition but far better.
